Host Turkey and Slovenia became the two newest quarterfinalists at the World Championships with respective blowout wins. Jaka Lakovic of Regal FCB roared for 19 points as Slovenia routed Australia 87-58 and in the nightcap, Efes Pilsen's Sinan Guler scored 17 to spark Turkey over France 95-77.
