 French League champ SLUC Nancy announced on Tuesday the addition of power forward Rod Benson (208, 23) for the next season. He played the Summer League this summer with the Toronto Raptors averaging 2.0 points per game in 2 appearances. He arrives from the Dakota Wizards of the NBDL where he averaged 13.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per night. He played college ball in University of California, Berkeley. He also played the 2006 and 2007 NBA Summer Leagues, but in the 2006-07 season he signed for the Austin Toros of the NBDL, from where he was released before joining the Dakota Wizards.
