Week 10 qualification possibilities

GROUP A
Unicaja will win Group A if it beats Maccabi Electra or if it loses by fewer than 8 points and Olympiacos loses to Le Mans. In both scenarios, Unicaja would be first, Olympiacos second and Maccabi third. In the event that Unicaja loses to Maccabi and Olympiacos wins, the final score of the Unicaja-Maccabi game would determine the order. If Maccabi wins by more than 26 and Olympiacos wins, it would be Maccabi first, Olympiacos second and Unicaja third. If Maccabi wins by at least 7, but less than 26, and Olympiacos wins, it would be Olympiacos first, Maccabi second and Unicaja third. If Maccabi beats Unicaja by more than 7 and Olympiacos falls to Le Mans, Maccabi would be first, Unicaja second and Olympiacos third. Cibona will be fourth in Group A regardless of the Week 10 results.

Regal FC Barcelona has clinched first place in Group B. Montepaschi will place second if it beats SLUC Nancy in Week 10 of if Panathinaikos loses to Asseco Prokom. Panathinaikos will finish second if it wins, Montepaschi loses and the combined margin of the two results is greater than 27 points. If Panathinaikos wins and Montepaschi loses, but the combined margin of the two results is less than 27 points, Montepaschi would be second and Panathinaikos third. If Panathinaikos wins, Montepaschi loses and the combined margin of the two results is exactly 27 points, Panathinaikos would need to score 42 points more than Montepaschi to claim second place. Three teams remain in the fight for fourth place. Prokom will be fourth if it wins or if both Nancy and Zalgiris lose. Zalgiris will be fourth if it wins and either Prokom or Nancy or both Prokom and Nancy lose. Nancy will be fourth if it wins and both Prokom and Zalgiris lose.

Fenerbahce will be second if it beats Roma by at least 9 points. Roma cannot finish lower than third. Either Alba Berlin and DKV Joventut will take the fourth Top 16 berth from Group C. Alba Berlin will clinch if it wins. DKV Joventut will be fourth if it wins and Berlin loses. Berlin could theoretically reach third place if it were to win, Fenerbahce lost and the total margin of the two games' results was greater than 69. |
GROUP D
CSKA Moscow has clinched first place in Group D. Real Madrid will be second if it defeats Efes Pilsen in Week 10. Madrid can still be second if it loses by less than 14 points and both Armani Jeans and Partizan lose or if it loses by 2 points or less, Armani Jeans loses at Panionios and Partizan wins at CSKA. Efes will be second if it beats Madrid and Armani Jeans wins or if it beats Madrid by more than 27 and Armani Jeans loses. There is also a scenario in which Efes could miss the Top 16. That would happen if it loses and both Armani Jeans and Partizan win. Partizan can be second if it wins and Efes beats Madrid by at least 3, but less than 27 points. Partizan would still advances with any win or if it loses and Panionios beats Armani Jeans by more than 4, but less than 32 points. Armani Jeans will advance if it wins and either Partizan or Efes lose or if it loses by less than 4, Efes wins and Partizan loses. Panionios’s only chance to reach the Top 16 is beat Armani Jeans by at least 32, for Efes to win and for Partizan to lose.
