CSKA MOSCOW signs Voronov
Evgeny VoronovRussian champ CSKA Moscow kept adding new names to its renewed roster for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Euroleague season by adding guard Evgeny Voronov. Voronov (1.93 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Dynamo Moscow of Russia where last season he averaged 12.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 25 Russian League games. Voronov played European competition in 2008-09 with Unics Kazan in the Eurocup as he averaged 3.1 points and 0.8 assists in 10 games. He made his debut in the 2002-03 season with Stavropol and then moved to Lokomotiv Rostov where he stayed since 2005-06. He also played with Dynamo St. Petersburg and Samara before moving to Unics in 2008.
