London 2012 Olympic Tournament preview: Argentina

ARGENTINA
Pablo Prigioni - Caja Laboral It may be the last chance for a golden generation of Argentinean players to do something big together - and that makes them even more dangerous than ever. Players like 2001 Euroleague Finals MVP Manu Ginobili, former All-Euroleague power forward Luis Scola, two-time All-Euroleague second team selection Andres Nocioni of Caja Laboral, Carlos Delfino and Leo Gutierrez helped Argentina win a historic gold medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004, changing Olympic basketball history forever. Euroleague legend Pablo Prigioni was added to the team that got a bronze medal in Beijing 2008 along with Eurocup winner Fede Kammerichs. They are all back in 2012 in what is the last chance for them to play the Olympic men's basketball tournament together. On top of that, Coach Julio Cesar Lamas has sprinkled in some fresh faces, like playmaker Facundo Campazzo. Togetherness, talent and a team-oriented game played possession by possession has made Argentina what it is - one of the best national teams in the world.
