BESIKTAS keeps Hersek, Cetin

Cetin (1.97 meters, 26 years old) averaged 6.2 points and 3.1 assists in 34 Turkish League games last season. Hersek (2.04 meters, 24 years old) averaged 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 32 Turkish League games. Both players helped Besiktas to win the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup and the EuroChallenge titles last season. Hersek started his career with Pertevniyal and soon joined Efes Pilsen, to which he helped to win the Turkish League in 2009 and the Turkish Cup in 2007 and 2009. Hersek has also played for Darussafaka, Banvit and Antalya, as well as being a member of the Turkish national team. Cetin will start his third season with Besiktas. He has also played for Tekelspor, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, as well as for the Turkish national team. He earned Turkish Cup MVP honors last season and aldo lifted the trophy with Fenerbahce in 2010. Cetin also won two Turkish League titles with Fener in 2008 and 2010. He helped the Turkish U20 national team to win a silver medal at the 2006 European championships and lifted the Mannhein Tournament trophy with his junior national team in 2004.
