PHASE PAGES, Top 16 2006-07
EB Top 16Three of the top teams in the 2006-07 Euroleague were at their best by the time the Top 16 rolled around. Reigning champion CSKA Moscow, Panathinaikos and Tau Ceramica all cruised in this stage, needing only five games to win their groups and home-court advantage for the playoffs. However the battle for first place in the other group as well as the fight for second place in all of them produced some drama. Unicaja prevailed as the fourth group winner, while Dynamo extended its spectacular season in a drama-filled Week 6 win over Benetton as forward Antonis Fotsis set a new Euroleague mark with 24 rebounds.
