REGULAR SEASON, 2011-12
The 2011-12 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season delivering all the action – and more – that basketball fans worldwide could have asked for. As usual, all 24 teams were divided into four groups of six teams and only the best four teams in each group advanced to the Top 16. This season featured four newcomers to the competition – Gescrap BB, KK Zagreb, GS Medical Park and reigning Eurocup champ Unics Kazan. When all was said and done, the regular season proved to be brilliant with one undefeated team, another displaying some of the best team defense ever seen, one of the closest ever regular season groups going down to the wire and the last remaining Top 16 berths not decided until the Week 10 buzzer sounded.
