CSKA Moscow became the second team to reach the 2013 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London, joining Real Madrid which claimed its ticket on Tuesday! Only two games remain till the end of the playoffs, but they will be doozies: do-or-die Game 5 clashes to finalize the Final Four lineup. On Friday, CSKA held off Caja Laboral Vitoria 85-94 at Fernando Buesa Arena to win theit playoff series 3-1.

Completing a playoffs sweep on one of the toughest courts in the world, Real Madrid on Tuesday became the first team to reach the 2013 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four in London! Real Madrid downed Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv 57-69 on Tuesday in front of a sellout crowd of 11,060 fans at Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel, to reach the Final Four for the second time in three years.

The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Playoffs resumed for Game 2s with another thriller on Thursday and three convincing performances Friday. We are already certain that one series will go to four games after Panathinaikos Athens edged Barcelona Regal 65-66 in the first Game 2 to be played. The result evened their best-of-five series at 1-1.

Four Turkish Airlines Euroleague Playoffs series spread out over two days all had one thing in common: The home teams all struck first to take 1-0 leads in the best-of-five affairs. With only 48 hours between Games 1 and 2, the action will return Thursday and Friday with the four visiting sides facing an opportunity to even things up or to fall far behind. Drama was served on the opening night of the playoffs as Barcelona survived a 72-70 overtime thriller against Panathinaikos Athens. Barcelona, which extended its Euroleague winning streak to 13 games, also hosts Game 2 on Thursday.
