| CEZ Basketball Nymburk stays as the top contender to win yet another Czech League title. CEZ Basket Nymburk won its fifth straight Czech League championship last season, losing just two games out of 55. Nymburk has dominated the championship the way few other teams did all around the continent in the last five years. Nymburk kept Arthur Lee, Radek Necas, Petr Benda or Blake Schlib while added Goran Jagodnik or Justin Gray, enough to stay competitive at the Eurocup level while dominating its domestic league. Geofin Novy Jicin made it to the title series last season and will try to challenge Nymburk with stars like Kenny Walker, Robert Sarovic or Jamar Smith. Prostejov is set to battle for a spot in the title series, too. The team has inked Shaun Pruitt and Hurl Beechum while keeping Goran Savanovic or Rashaan Ames. BK Decin, with John Ofoegbu and Pavel Houska, and Synthesia Pardubice, featuring Levell Sanders, Lavell Payne and Tomas Gaidamavicius, are set to fight for a spot in the semifinals. |
