The French League All-Star game was once again a massive success, as 14,453 fans came to Palais Omnisports Paris-Bercy in Paris, France for the event. The foreign All-Star team won the game by downing the French All-Star squad 108-124. Marc Salyers led seven foreign players in double digits with 20 points. Dewarick Spencer added 19 and earned MVP honors, Kenny Gregory of Le Mans had 14, Cedrick Banks of Sluc Nancy and Eric Campbell of Le Mans each tallied 12 while Terrell Everett and Terrence Dials scored 10 points apiece for the winners. Ali Traore had 24 points for the French All-Stars, Cyril Julian of Nancy added 21, Mamoutou Diarra tallied 17, Yohann Sangare 11 and Pape Badiane 10. Diarra and Traore led the French All-Stars to a 26-24 edge after 10 minutes, while a jumper by Sangare gave his team a 61-52 lead at halftime. Everything changed after the break, however, as Ricardo Greer of Pau-Orthez, Banks and Spencer led the foreign comeback. Spencer beat the third-quarter buzzer with a triple for a 81-87 foreign edge after 30 minutes. The foreigns soon extended their lead to 86-101 and never looked back. Jimmal Ball won the skills contest, Tracy Murray took the three-point shootout while Guy Dupuy took home the slam dunk contest trophy.
