For the third season in a row, Euroleague Basketball and Special Olympics teamed up to dedicate two Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season games to promoting participation in basketball among its members.

Euroleague Basketball and its main partner, Turkish Airlines, joined forces with Los 40 Principales, one of the most popular radio stations in Spain, to organize a charity concert during the 2011 Final Four in Barcelona.

EB4LIFE brings new court to the heart of Barcelona

One of Barcelona’s oldest districts could become a new hotbed of basketball talent thanks to the refurbished court that was inaugurated to coincide with the start of the 2011 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four.

What we do

Via Euroleague for Life, Euroleague Basketball has played an active role in numerous charitable undertakings. Among them have been partnerships with the Special Olympics and UNICEF and annual programs including hospital visits and basketball court refurbishments in the cities of the Euroleague Final Four. Basketball for Everyone

Partnership with Special Olympics forms part of the Euroleague for Life corporate responsibility programme. The league has been supporting Special Olympics for the last three seasons. With the campaign "Basketball for Everyone", Euroleague Basketball wants to promote the inclusion, respect and integration in our community of people with Intellectual disabilities. "We are very proud to offer our platform to raise awareness and support for Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia," says Jordi Bertomeu, Euroleague President and CEO.
