One Team launches in Moscow
Euroleague Basketball's acclaimed social responsibility program One Team will launch in Russia on Monday, October 1 at a very special event, hosted by CSKA Moscow, whose players and coaches will announce the club’s charity partner for the coming season.

In the season's first One Team event, CSKA will announce that its players, coaches and club staff will be working this season for the charity fund Parilis, which popularizes sport for disabled people in the Moscow area as a means for both rehabilitation and social adaptation.

CSKA will make the announcement during its annual Euroleague Media Day on Monday. The announcement will be followed by a training session for wheelchair athletes led by CSKA stars Milos Teodosic and Sonny Weems. The players will lead drills for wheelchair athletes that are basically designed to improve the self-esteem and self-confidence of the participants more than to improve their basketball skills.

The event will be attended by: Mr. Mefail Deribas, GM in Moscow for Turkish Airlines, the Founding Patron of One Team; by Ms. Natalia Furaeva, CSKA Moscow's vice president for sports; and by Ms. Isabel Gultresa, Euroleague Basketball's One Team representative.

CSKA Moscow is one of 13 clubs in Euroleague Basketball participating in One Team, a complete social responsibility program that brings together activities from each in an integrated, impactful way, working under the theme of "community integration". All clubs follow a "Coaching for Hope" curriculum and tailor it to their local community needs to include excluded groups in the mainstream through sports.

For CSKA Moscow, the choice of Parilis brings the club into a long-term relationship with a charity that believes in strong personal involvement to help people in need. Monday's One Team event begins the implementation of a CSKA program that will include several activities throughout the year to benefit Parilis and the many disadvantaged people it serves.
