A historic ball sells for $1025!
Historic BallEuroleague Basketball and UNICEF were able to auction a historic Panathinaikos ball through an eBay auction which sold for $1025! After a shy start the bids climbed up to reach this figure, 100% of which will go to the worldwide organization that works for children all around the globe. The lucky winner was able to attend the Final Four gala dinner that Euroleague Basketball celebrates in each of its Final Fours where he picked up his prize.

The historic ball features the signatures of all the 2002 Panathinaikos team that won the Euroleague trophy in Bologna including those of Lazaros Papadopoulos, Johnny Rogers, Damir Mulaomerovic, Ibrahim Kutluay or the Final Four MVP, Dejan Bodiroga.
