BK Synthesia Pardubice dropped its second straight game and fell from a four-way tie for first place in the Czech League with 80-84 defeat to Geofin Novy Jicin in a mid-week round of action. The result leaves, Jicin, defending champion CEZ Basket Nymburk and BK Prostejov alone at the top with 6-1 records. Nymburk scored 31 fourth-quarter points as it dumped BK Kondori Liberec 93-73. Radoslav Rančík led the way with 26 points, Monty Mack added 15 points and 5 assists, Petr Benda scored 12 and Radek Necas and Pavel Benes had 10 each for Nymburk. Lukas Kraus paced Liberec with 17 in defeat. Robert Tomaszek led six Prostejov scorers in double figures as their club cruised past A Plus OHL ZS Brno 97-75. In other games, BK Decin beat BK Sadska 98-83 thanks to Pavel Milos's 25 points, NH Ostrava topped USK Praha 78-63 as Jaroslav Prasil posted 24 and BC Kolín defeated BK Ústi nad Labem 74-67 with Jiri Sebek going for 29.
