Le Mans is right behind at 13-5 while Roanne is fourth with a 12-6 record. Asvel beat Gravelines 81-90 on the road on Saturday. Lamayn Wilson led the winners with 21 points. Robert Conley and Chevon Troutman each added 20 while Uche Nsonwu posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds for Asvel. Strasbourg improved to 10-8 by thrashing Sluc Nancy 98-73 at home on Friday behind 20 points from Eddie Shannon. Meanwhile, Le Mans thrashed Pau-Orthez 64-81 on the road on Saturday. Raviv Limonad led the winners with 14 points. Elan Chalon improved to 7-11 by downing Clermont 95-80 at home on Saturday, as Xavier Corosine led 6 players in double digits with 16 points. Chorale Roanne dropped to 12-6 due to a 84-75 road loss against Hyeres-Toulon. In other games, Cholet edged Dijon 80-81 on a game-winning layup by Steed Tchicamboud, Le Havre downed Orleans 79-86 while Vichy topped Paris 55-70.

Asvel Basket improved to 14-4 by beating Gravelines 81-90 on the road on Saturday. Wilson led the winners with 21 points. Conley and Troutman each added 20 while Nsonwu posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds for Asvel, that trailed 31-20 after 10 minutes. Conley got Asvel back in the game while a 2-10 run gave the guests a 45-46 edge at halftime. Wilson and Nsonwu allowed Asvel to get a 65-71 lead after 30 minutes. An 11-0 run gave Gravelines a 76-71, but Asvel did not panic. Wilson and Conley fueled a 0-13 run that allowed Asvel to seal the win down the stretch. Strasbourg showed its power by thrashing Sluc Nancy 98-73 at home on Friday. Strasbourg improved to 10-8 while Nancy dropped to 14-4. Shannon led the winners with 20 points. Derrick Obasohan added 17, Aaron Pettway posted a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, Sacha Giffa had 15 points and John McCord 14 for Strasbourg. Cyril Julian had 18 points for Nancy, Ricardo Greer barely missed a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists while Michael Bauer added 11 points for the guests, who trailed 48-43 at halftime. Giffa and McCord allowed Strasbourg to 79-59 after 30 minutes and Nancy never recovered.

Le Mans improved to 13-5 by thrashing Pau-Orthez 64-81 on the road on Saturday. Limonad led the winners with 14 points. Alain Koffi posted a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, Luka Bogdanovic had 12 points while Yannick Bokolo and Phil Ricci each added 10 for Le Mans. Deji Akindele led Pau with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Antonio Graves added 13 points for the hosts, that led 39-32 at halftime. Le Mans improved its defense after the break while Koffi and Limonad allowed the guests to get a 52-55 edge after 30 minutes. Le Mans only allowed 12 points in the fourth quarter, while team effort was enough for the guests to add a major road win. Elan Chalon improved to 7-11 by downing Clermont 95-80 at home on Saturday. Xavier Corosine led the winners with 16 points. Bryan Bracey added 15, Darrel Mitchell 13, Jermaine Guice 12 while Philippe Braud and Moussa Badiane each had 10 points in an easy win for Chalon, that led 70-53 after 30 minutes and did not find much trouble to add a big home win. Chorale Roanne dropped to 12-6 due to a 84-75 road loss against Hyeres-Toulon. Laurent Legname led the winners with 19 points. Marc Salyers had 15 points for Chorale, Adam Hess added 14, Brion Rush 13 and Pierric Poupet 10 for the guests, whose last lead came at 12-15.
