CSU Asesoft Ploiesti improved to 10-0 in the Romanian League standings by downing Gaz Metan Medias 97-83 at home on Saturday. Reggie Elliott and Arvydas Cepulis paced the winners with 22 points apiece. De'Angelo Alexander added 20, Levente Szijarto had 12 and Rashard Griffith 10 for Asesoft. Javier Mojica had 19 points for Gaz Metan, that dropped to 7-4. The guests got within 68-63 after 30 minutes but Asesoft managed to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer. In other games, ELBA Timisioara thrashed BC Ramnicu-Valcea 97-58 behind 30 points from Nenad Markovic, CSU Sibiu topped U Mobitelco Cluj 87-75, Rapid Neoset Bucuresti edged CSM Leonardo Oradea 76-80 while CS Otopeni overwhelmed BC Targoviste 108-68. Muresul faces BC Pitesti on December 12.
