Olympic Fribourg improved its record to 16-3 by beating Meyring Grand Sacconex at home 91-79 in a game it dominated from the beginning and led 49-35 at halftime. Erroyl Bing led the way with 20 points, Marcus Sloan had 12 and Harold Mrazek, Pascal Perrier-David and Tresore Quidome added 11 points apiece. The Lugano Tigers thrashed Riviera Vevey 101-71 behind 22 points from Dusan Mladjan to remain in second place with a 15-4 record. The third placed Birstal Starwings scored a thrilling away success over Lausanne, 63-68, led by 19 points from Jared McCurry. The two big upsets of the night were the win of Boncourt over Monthey 81-75, and the success of the Geneva Devils against Vacallo 85-72. Kevin Corre led Boncourt with 21 points and Ross Derogatis had 30 for Geneva Devils. Meanwhile Sion Herens edged Nyon 61-65 on the road as Bruno Zanotti scored 23 points.
