Brandon Kurtz - EiffelTowers EiffelTowers Den Bosch bounced back from its first loss of the season by reaching the triple-digit mark in points in a Saturday win at Aris Friesland. The defending champs came from behind in the fourth quarter to score a 95-100 win. The result not only improved their record to 6-1, but returned Den Bosch to first place after the West Brabant Giants lost their first game. Center Brandon Kurtz led EiffelTowers with 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting, Jayson Wells added 16, Darell Tucker 14 and Kees Akerboom 11. Dean Oliver orchestrated the show with 12 assists. Dillion Sneed led Aris with 26 points and 16 rebounds. Meanwhile Upstairs handed West Brabant its first defeat, 87-76, as Ashley Champion exploded for 28 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. MyGuide Amsterdam joined West Brabant for a share of second place by manhandling Landstede Basketball 55-77 behind Jeron Roberts's 18 points and 4 steals. And Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen followed its big win over EiffelTowers by trouncing Zorg & Zekerheid Leiden 90-64 as Victor Thomas posted 27 points and 14 rebounds.
