BC Kyiv stays unbeaten in the Ukrainian League by thrashing Krivbasbasket 56-75 on the road on Saturday. Artur Drozdov paced the winners with 22 points on 5-for-7 two-pointers and 4-for-7 triples. Manu Markoishvili added 20 on 5-for-8 from downtown while Josh Davis had 10 in yet another easy win for Kyiv, that led 26-35 at halftime and boosted its margin up to 36-61 after 30 minutes, more than enough to seal a well-deserved triumph. Azovmash stayed second and improved to 11-3 by topping Budivelnik 69-78 on the road also on Saturday. Rodney Buford led the winners with 17 points. Sergiy Lishchuk and Panos Liadelis each added 13, Tyus Edney had 11 and Yahor Meshcharakou 10 for Azovmash, that led 54-56 after 30 minutes. Buford and Lishchuk combined for 13 points in the final period to make Azovmash add a big win. In other games, Sumihimprom beat the Cherkasy Monkeys 96-80, Mykolaiv downed Pulsar 66-83, Politekhnika Lvov bested Odessa 78-89 while Khimik defeated Dnipro 96-86 behind 21 points from Sasa Bratic.
