Todor Stoykov - Lukoil AcademicLukoil Academic bounced back from its first Bulgarian League loss in two years and improved to 6-1 to keep leading the standings by beating Euroins Cherno More 92-83 at home on Friday. Kevin Kruger and Tim Pickett led the winners each with 21 points. Todor Stoykov added 16 while Kenny Adeleke had 20 for Lukoil, that led 52-47 at halftime. Cherno More stayed in the game after the break and got within 88-83 with 2 minutes to go. Nenad Canak and Stoykov allowed Lukoil to seal the outcome down the stretch. Levski and Spartak Pleven tie for second place, each with a 5-2 record. Spartak downed Yambol 87-95 behind 22 points and 10 rebounds from Rob Preston. Meanwhile, Levski topped CSKA 76-90 on the road on Sunday. Stefan Georgiev led Levski with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Last but not least, Rilski Sportist defeated Sliven 69-97 also on Sunday.
