Levski sent a loud message to defending champion and current Bulgarian League leader Lukoil Academic by edging the champs 82-84 on the road. Despite the loss, Lukoil is first in the standings at 19-4, while Levski follows with an 18-6 record. Stefan Georgiev had a huge night with 26 points and 12 rebounds for Levski, who also got 17 points from Marcus Hall. For Lukoil, Willie Deane scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Todor Stoykov produced 16 points, Leemire Goldwire netted 15 points and dished 5 assists, and Riste Stefanov finished with 13 points. Third-place Euroins Cherno More improved to 13-10 by pounding Sliven 69-104 as Zeljko Bojovic came off the bench to lead five scorers in double figures with 19 points for the visitors. Rilski Sportist defeated Yambol 78-102, paced by 18 points and 9 rebounds from Travis Peterson.
