Croatian League, Regular Season, Phase 2, Game 10: April 28-29, 2009
Zadar, Cibona and Zagreb Crobenz all won to maintain a three-team tie atop the Croatian League, with 8 victories and 1 defeat each. Cibona scored 72 points in the first half en route to an overwhelming, 78-124 victory over Sibenik behind 25 points from Davor Kus, who made each and every shot he took. Jared Homan notched 17 points, Tomislav Zubcic netted 15 points, Robert Troha added 13 points, Earl Calloway collected 12 points, 8 assists and 7 steals, Marin Rozic had 12 points of his own and Alan Anderson chipped in with 11 points. Zadar had to work much harder to edge Split CO 76-82 after a 43-38 halftime deficit. Juby Johnson scored 18 points, Todor Gecevski produced 17 points and Marko Car contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the defending champs. Darlon Johnson paced the hosts with 24 points. Zagreb downed Svjetlost 111-93 as veteran guard Damir Mulaomerovic led six scorers in double digits with 23 points for the winners. Dubrovnik turned the game around with a 31-22 fourth quarter to top Cedevita 101-95 thanks to 29 points from Ante Vranjes.
