Asko Paade - Tartu Rock (Photo: tysk.ee/rock)Everything is already decided in the Estonian League regular season, as Tartu Rock is first no matter what with a 26-2 record while Kalev/Cramo also clinched second place at 21-5. Both teams are directly qualified to the semifinals, while the quarterfinal playoff series will be TTU KK vs. BC Rakvere Tarvas and KK Valga vs. Tallinna Kalev. Rock finished the regular season with consecutive road wins. On Saturday, Rock downed Kuremaa SK 93-116 behind 31 points on 13-for-17 two-pointers from Asko Paade. Viktor Sanikidze added 29 while Janar Talts had 14 for Rock. On Sunday, Rock edged TTU KK 83-91 with 21 points from Tanoka Beard. Viktor Sanikidze, Gert Kullamae and Talts each added 14 for Rock. Kalev improved to 21-5 by overwhelming KK Parnu/Catwees 117-75 in Tallinn behind 29 points from Rait Keerles and 20 from Gregor Arbet. John Linehan added 16 while Tanel Kurbas had 12 for Kalev, that already led 70-30 at halftime. In other games, TTU KK beat Parnu 79-60 while Rakvere Tarvas thrashed Tallinna Kalev 80-104 with 23 points each from Kristo Saage and Raido Villers. Two more regular season games will be played on Tuesday, with no effect in the quarterfinals matchups: Kalev/Cramo vs. Tallinna Kalev and Valga vs. Parnu.
