Viktor Sankidze - Tartu Rock (Photo - basket.ee )The finals of the Estonian League will pit TU/Rock against BC Kalev/Cramo for this fifth consecutive season after both teams swept their respective semifinals series 3-0. Reigning champion TU/Rock was the first to go through by beating KK Valga 74-65 on Sunday. Rock dominated the second quarter and led 44-29 at halftime, but Valga stormed back and were within 1 heading into the fourth quarter. But Rock’s experience made the difference down the stretch. Viktor Sanikidze led Rock with 17 points, Tanoka Beard added 15 points and 8 rebounds, Janar Talts scored 12 and Georgi Tsintsadze 11. Heiko Rannula and Richard Anderson scored 16 apiece in defeat. Kalev/Cramo punched its ticket by beating TTU KK 89-78 on Monday. The hosts scored 34 points in the first quarter and then outscored TTU KK 22-10 in the second to take a 56-39 halftime lead, enabling them to coast the rest of the way. Gregor Arbet paced the winners with 20 points, Rait Keerles added 14 and Kristjan Kangur had 12. Joosep Polka led TTU KK with 20 points and 8 rebounds.
