Zalgiris stays undefeated atop the Lithuanian League standings with a 17-0 record. Lietuvos Rytas, that did not play in this round, is right behind with a 15-1 record while Siauliai is third at 13-4. Zalgiris did not find much trouble to beat Techasas 81-116 on the road on Wednesday. Tadas Klimavicius led the winners with 20 points. Dainius Salenga and Jonas Maciulis each added 18, Sarunas Vasiliauskas and Arturas Milaknis had 14 apiece while Paulius Jankunas got 10 for Zalgiris, that led 34-58 at halftime, boosted its margin to 54-88 after 30 minutes and cruised to yet another road win. Siauliai registered back-to-back road wins in this round. On March 10, Siauliai topped Suduva 77-84 behind 15 points from Gintaras Kadziulis and 14 from Gediminas Maceina. Siauliai completed a perfect week by beating Aisciai 89-102 on Wednesday. Andrius Slezas paced the winners with 27 points on 5-for-5 three-pointers. Kadziulis added 20 while Donatas Motiejunas led Aisciai with 27 points. In other games, Neptunas downed Suduva 78-101, Nevezis overwhelmed Techasas 104-60 while Sakalai also beat Techasas 93-99. Arvydas Siksnius led 6 Sakalai players in double digits with 23 points.
