David Logan - Asseco ProkomAsseco Prokom leads the Polish League standings with a 15-4 record. Polpharma Starogard Gdanski is second at 14-5 while Kotwica Kolobrzeg is third with a 13-6 record. Prokom needed double overtime to edge Kotwica 102-101 at home on Sunday behind 36 points from David Logan. Filip Dylewicz added 12, Przemyslaw Zamojski and Ronnie Burrell each had 11 while Daniel Ewing got 10 for Prokom. Drew Naymick and Kevin Hamilton each had 19 points for Kotwica. Prokom trailed 38-45 at halftime but Logan, Dylewicz and a basket by Qyntel Woods gave the hosts a 69-62 margin after 30 minutes. Kotwice regained the lead, 81-86, already in the final minute but Logan followed a three-point play with a big basket to send the game to overtime, 86-86. Logan and Zamojski shined in the first extra period but Hamilton scored with 40 seconds to go to force double overtime, 93-93. Logan nailed a triple and soon added a jumper for a 100-95 Prokom lead with 2:42 remaining. Kotwica got within 102-100 already in the final minute. Tomasz Cielebak hit 1-for-2 free throws and even when Logan missed in the other end, Pawel Kikowski missed a game-winning shot at the buzzer. In other games, PBG Basket Poznan beat Polonia Gaz Ziemny Warszawa 96-87, Energa Czarni Slupsk topped Sokolow Znicz Jaroslaw 107-95 behind 30 points from Mateo Kedzo while Bank BPS Basket Kwidzyn overwhelmed Victoria Gornik Walbrzych 113-70.
