Sport Lisboa Benfica leads the Portuguese League standings with a perfect 29-0 record. CAB Madeira stayed second at 25-4, with Ovarense Dolce Vita third at 23-6 and Vagos NorbainLusavouga fourth with a 20-9 record. In the biggest game this weekend, Benfica downed Ovarense 59-76 in Ovar on Saturday. Sergio Ramos led the winners with 17 points. Diogo Carreira added 15, Elvis Evora had 13 while Seth Doliboa got 11 for Benfica, that trailed 49-47 after 30 minutes but only allowed 10 points in the fourth quarter to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer and stay undefeated. Nuno Cortez had 16 points for Ovarense. CAB topped Vagos 75-81 on the road on Sunday. Francisco Fernandes led the winners with 21 points while Jason Smith added 16 for CAB, that rallied from an eight-point deficit to add another win. Also on Saturday, Porto Ferpinta thrashed VSC 91-66 behind 20 points from Christian Burns while Casino Ginasio beat Fisica Torres Vedras 81-91. In other games, Barreirense edged Academica 80-81.
