EiffelTowers Den Bosch matched the amount of win of league-leading MyGuide Amsterdam, while the Hanzevast Capitals leapfrogged the West Brabant Giant into third place over the weekend in the Dutch League. EiffelTowers bested Zorg & Zekerheid 77-83 to improve to 8-2. Amsterdam, which was off this weekend, is 8-0. Kees Akerboom Jr. led the winners with 26 points and Devonne Giles added 21 points and 7 rebounds for Den Bosch, which trailed 60-58 heading into the fourth quarter, but turned things around in the final 10 minutes. The Capitals edged the Giants 97-96 as Torey Thomas led six scorers for the home team in double figures with 19 points. In other games, Matrixx Magixx topped Den Helder Blue Stream Seals 89-75 thanks to 29 points and 10 rebounds from Gerrit Brigitha and Upstairs Weert downed Aris Friesland 106-108 as Nick Stapleton peppered the nest for 10 points.
