Ukrainian League, Regular Season, Game 2: October 11, 2008
Only three teams are unbeaten after game two in the Ukrainian League - the same three teams that were on top of the league by the end of last season. BC KYIV blasted MBC Mykolaiv to go home with a 68-104 win as Kenan Bajramovic shined with a double double - 18 points and 10 rebounds. Manuchar Markoishvili added 17 points for the capital team, who dominated inside, winning the rebound battle 37-22. Champion Azovmash visited Donetsk to beat the local heroes 69-76. Khalid El-Amin orchestrated Azovmash's offence with 21 points and 7 assists, while Dijon Thompson chipped in with 15 points. P. J. Tucker had 16 points to lead Donetsk in scoring for a second straight game. Khimik made sure Sumykhimprom is no longer unbeaten by sending them home with a 98-78 defeat. Olumuiba Famutimi collected a double double for Khimik with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Brian Greene was the man for Sumykhimprom with 29 points. BC-93 Pulsar dominated BC Poltava, winning all four quarters with at least 7 points. The finals score was 97-61, as Anatoi Dubnyuk led 6 Pulsar players in double digits with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
