The top two teams in the Belgian League each recorded wins on Saturday, while the middle pack bunched up with one victory separating the four teams between third place and sixth place. Belgacom Liege Basket continues to lead the league with a 19-8 record after topping Generali Okapi Aalstar 74-79. Will Thomas dominated with 21 points and 15 rebounds and Michael Green added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Spirou Basket Charleroi trails Liege by two wins after topping Dexia Mons-Hainaut 83-70. Wes Wilkinson and Brent Wright scored 14 points apiece and Jonatahn Tabu added 13 for Charleroi. Craig Callahan led Mons with 19 points. In other games, Optima Gent downed VOO Verviers-Pepinster 75-82 as Kevin Melson scored 19 and Antwerp Giants beat Base BC Oostende 90-85 Brandon Gay had 29 points and 9 rebounds.
