Belgian League leader Belgacom Liege Basket extended its lead in the standings over third-placed VOO Verviers-Pepinster with a 94-85 victory, but defending champion Spirou Charleroi remained just two wins behind after it won too. Will Thomas scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Michael Green added 24 points and 6 assists as Liege improved to 20-8. Charleroi recorded a 73-86 road win over Antwerp Giants thanks to 21 points from Brent Wright. Courtney Sims added 19 points and 14 rebounds and Justin Hamilton and Jonathan Tabu added 12 each for the winners. Fresh off its victory in the Belgian Cup final, Base Oostende routed Generali Okapi Aalstar 86-63 behind Dragisa Drobnjak's 15-point, 14-rebound effort. And Optima Gent downed Passe-Partout Leuven Bears 66-56 as Kevin Melson scored 23.
