The hosts held Liege to 4 second-quarter points en route to a 35-22 halftime lead and put the game away with a 26-12 third quarter, allowing the players and fans to celebrate throughout the fourth quarter. Dwayne Broyles led the winners with 18 points, Jerry Johnson added 12 and veteran Andre Riddick posted 6 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks in 15 minutes as Spirou earned its ninth Belgian League championship. Will Thomas produced 10 points and 13 rebounds for Liege in defeat.
