Kaya Peker - Efes Pilsen_24562Efes Pilsen bounced back from its initial loss in the Turkish League finals by topping archrivals Fenerbahce Ulker 73-64 in Game 2 on Saturday. Both teams are tied at 1-1 in the best-of-seven series but FB Ulker hosts Games 3 and 4 next week. Kaya Peker paced the winners with 16 points. Bootsy Thornton added 11, Bostjan Nachbar had 10 while Ender Arslan dished 11 assists for Efes. Tarence Kinsey led FB Ulker with 14 points. Oguz Savas added 12 while Roko Ukic had 10 for the guests. Efes overcame an early deficit to get a 15-11 lead after 10 minutes. Charles Smith and Nachbar soon helped Efes to make it a double-digit game, 27-17. Fener rallied after the break, as Kinsey and Semih Erden allowed the guests to get a 50-51 edge after 30 minutes. Ermal Kuqo took over in the fourth quarter and got some help from Nachbar and Kerem Tunceri to seal the outcome, 69-61, minutes before the final buzzer.
