However with the clock a factor, the game became a free throw contest and Jerrells did not leave any openings and carried Partizan to the title. Adriatic League, Season 2010-11
The 2010-11 Adriatic League features some new teams and an attractive, consolidated competition that had one of the most exciting finishes in world basketball history last season. Partizan won the title by edging Cibona 74-75 in overtime on a 16-meter three-pointer by Dusan Kecman - and is the main candidate to win again next season. Jan Vesely, Kecman, Nathan Jawai and Branislav Djekic will try to keep Partizan atop everyone else this season. Teams like Union Olimpija, Cibona, Cedevita, Hemofarm Stada and - for the first time ever - CEZ Nymburk will do their best to try to dethrone Partizan. Cibona has a powerful roster with Mario Delas, Rok Stipcevic, Drago Pasalic or Bojan Bogdanovic. Olimpija has stars like Kenny Gregory, Kevinn Pinkney, Vlado Ilievski and Damir Markota. Cedevita hopes to keep growing with Dontaye Draper, Aaron Pettway, Marino Bazdaric or Vedran Vukusic. Hemofarm features Milan Macvan, Miljan Pavkovic and Milos Borisov. Nymburk has its own superstar in Tre Simmons, as well as other main players like Petr Benda, Weyinmi Efejuku and Mike Lenzly. Zagreb, Buducnost and Zadar will have a critical role in the outcome of the 2010-11 regular season. Zagreb featues Mario Kasun, Alex Renfroe, Luka Zoric and Krunoslav Simon. Buducnost relies on Marko Scekic, Vladimir Dragicevic and Gintaras Kadziulis while Zadar has go-to guys like Marko Car, Jurica Golemac and Jakov Vladovic. Expect a big battle all season long.
