Buducnost edged Partizan and Cedevita topped Cibona. Meanwhile CEZ Nymburk won its Adriatic League debut and Union Olimpija registered a big win. A Nikola Otasevic layup with six seconds remaining lifted Buducnost to a 78-79 road win at Partizan. Vladimir Dragicevic paced the winners with 15 points and Marko Simonovic added 14. Dragan Milosavljevic led Partizan with 15. Hemofarm STADA finished the game on a 10-1 run to beat Cibona 86-80. Boris Savovic scored the go-ahead free throws with juts over a minute remaining. Milan Macvan led the winners with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 29 for Cibona in defeat. Nymburk cruised to a 93-74 win over Crvena Zvezda in its competition debut. Pavel Pumprla had 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals off the bench and Tre Simmons netted 18 for the victors. Union Olimpija is now 1-0 as Damir Markota scored 19 in a 61-54 win over Igokea. Cedevita registered a 70-66 win over Zadar thanks to a 19-point, 5-assist effort from Marino Bazdaric. The other opening week winners were Krka and Zagreb CO.
