Baltic League, Regular Season, Game 7: November 6-11, 2010
VEF Riga held on to the top spot in the Baltic League by hammering Dolphins 82-66 on Wednesday. Sandis Valters scored 16 points off the bench and Tyler Cain recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds as the hosts improved to 7-1. Artsiom Parahouski added 14 points and Derek Williams dished 8 assists for the winners. Veteran Joseph McNaull led the Dolphins with 13 points. VEF started the week by beating Rock 77-85 as Williams scored 18 and Parahouski 17. The Batlic League’s other Eurocup team, BC Siauliai, was also a midweek winner by downing Perlas led by Vytautas Sarakauskas’s 24 points and 8 rebounds. Edgaras Stanionis added 15 points for the winners. Other winners during the week were Kalev/Cramo and Rudupis.
