Spirou did not find any trouble to down Stella Artois Leuven Bears 86-68 in Charleroi on Wednesday. Joseph Gomis paced the winners with 19 points. Christophe Beghin added 15 while Brent Wright posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds for Spirou, that led 48-31 at halftime, boosted its margin to 65-42 after 30 minutes and never looked back. Okapi had to battle hard to edge VOO Verviers-Pepinster 90-92 on the road on Saturday. Anthony Hilliard led the winners with 24 points on 11-of-14 two-pointers. Dexia Mons-Hainaut provided the most surprising record by overwhelming the Bears 44-80 with 22 points from Ronell Taylor. Last but not least, Antwerp Giants topped Optima Gent 77-87 behind 19 points from Timothy Black.
