Bertengeh Cadri-Nicholson - BK ProstejovBK Prostejov stunned perennial Czech League champion CEZ Basketball Nymburk with a 73-70 win in Game 3 to narrow the gap in their best-of-seven finals series to 2-1. There were three heroes on the night for the winners: Eugene Lawrence tallied 22 points and 5 assists, Kyle Landry posted 17 points and 12 rebounds and Bertengeh Cadri-Nicholson amassed 15 points and 12 boards. The game was close throughout and though the hosts led 62-56 after three quarters and then scored the first basket of the fourth quarter, but Nymburk stormed back and knotted the score at 67-67. Cadri-Nicholson pushed Prostejov up 71-67 from the line with a minute-and-a-half to play. Afik Nissim countered with a clutch triple and after holding Prostejov on defense, Nissim and co. had one last shot. But Pavel Pumprla could not convert and instead Benas Veikalas wrapped up the win from the line. Tre Simmons led Nymburk with 17 points and Petr Benda scored 13 and grabbed 7 rebounds in defeat.
