Maccabi has now won the cup in three straight seasons and in 12 of the past 14. Maccabi built a 20-point lead already in the second quarter and entertained the fans in the second half while keeping a safe advantage. The game may end up being best remembered for a brawl in the third quarter after which - Maccabi's Sofoklis Schortsanitis and David Blu and Netanya's Adrian Banks and Romeo Travis were all ejected. Guy Pnini paced the winners with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Schortsanitis added 16, Milan Macvan scored 13 in 14 minutes and Lior Eliyahu and Blu scored 11 each. Banks led Netanya with 22 points while former Maccabi player Elton Brown added 15.
