Zalgiris leads the Lithuanian League standings with a 5-0 record but archrivals Lietuvos Rytas and Kaunas are also undefeated at 3-0. Zalgiris and L. Rytas did not play in this round due to their respective Turkish Airlines Euroleague games against Partizan and Fenerbahce Ulker. Kaunas stayed undefeated after 3 games by edging Siauliai 90-88 behind 31 points and 8 assists from Sarunas Vasiliauskas. Zygimantas Janavicius led Siauliai with 27 points. Vytautas Sarakauskas and Edvinas Ruzgas each had 13 for the guests, that dropped to 1-1. Sarakauskas got Siauliai within 86-85 with 10 seconds left but free throws by Vasiliauskas Rokas Uzas allowed Kaunas to seal a big win. In other games, Neptunas beat Alytus 59-69, Rudupis thrashed Techasas 63-86, Naglis-A topped Juventus 89-78 while Sakalai bested Perlas 60-81.
