The top three teams in the Dutch League came back from the winter break with wins to further separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Defending champion GasTerra Flames bested Rotterdam 75-71 as Jason Dourisseau scored 14 and dished 5 assists and Steve Ross had 13 points and 10 rebounds. The victory lifted the Flames to 16-2. Jeremy Ormskerk and Daniel Jones led Rotterdam with 18 points apiece. Second-placed Zorg en Zekerheid stayed one win behind the leaders after crushing Magixx Nijmegen 69-52. Jesse Smith paced the winners with 19 points and 13 rebounds. EiffelTowers Den Bosch improved to 14-5 after scoring a 66-87 road win at Amsterdam. Kees Akerboom Jr. led Den Bosch with 19 points. In other games, Bergen op Zoom topped De Friesland Aris 80-89 and BSWeert overcame Landstede Zwolle 60-64.
