Ukrainian League, Regular Season, Game 10: November 1-3, 2010

There are no undefeated teams left in the Ukrainian League, as Budivelnik defeated BC Donetsk 68-67 in Kiev on Monday. Donetsk still leads the standings with a 9-1 record but Budivelnik is right behind at 9-2. Michailis Anismovas led the winners with 18 points. Dee Spencer added 16 but his contract was terminated soon after the game. Lamayne Wilson had 15 for Budivelnik. Luis Flores led Donetsk with 15 points. Donetsk led 23-33 early in the second quarter but an outstanding Wilson got Budivelnik within 37-38 at halftime. Donetsk kept a 60-65 edge with 1:38 left but a triple by Billy Keys and a big basket by Wilson tied it at 65-65. Brank Cvetkovic scored in the other end but Spencer answered from downtown to seal the win. Azovmash dropped to 5-5 due to a 80-88 home loss against Dnipro on Wednesday. Mario Austin led the winners with 22 points. Dan McClintock led Azovmash with 23 points, Ramel Curry added 22 while Charles Thomas had 10 for the hosts. Azovmahs trailed 36-48 at halftime but managed to get within 77-82 with under 2 minutes left. Austin and Steve Burtt stepped up in crunch time to seal the outcome. In other games, Kryvbasbasket downed Khimik 76-62, Mykolaiv beat Kyiv 85-73, Hoverla topped Ferro-ZNTU 80-68, BC Odessa edged Dnipro Azot 64-62 while Halychyna defeated Kryvbasbasket 84-83 on game-winning free throws by Nick Williams.
