Donetsk is second at 23-8 while despite not playing in this round, Azovmash ranks third with a 19-12 record. Budivelnik had to battle hard to edge Kryvbasbasket 64-65 on the road on Tuesday. Lamayne Wilson led the winners with 21 points. Andy Betts added 11 for Budivelnik, that led 41-53 late in the third quarter. Kryvbasbasket rallied to get within 64-65 and Wilson missed twice from downtown. The hosts had a final chance to win the game but Artem Slipenchuk missed free throws with 8 seconds to go. Donetsk registered a 78-86 home loss against Dnipro, as Steve Burtt paced the winners with 36 points. In other games, Ferro-ZNTU edged Dnipro Azot 78-83, Mykolaiv thrashed Halychyna 93-72 while Odessa bested Hoverla 73-68.
