Adriatic League, Regular Season, Game 20: February 10-12, 2012
It was a short week in the Adriatic League with three games involving three of the top four teams postponed for various reasons. The lone top four side that did play was Partizan mt:s, which which routed Siroki WWin to improve to 14-6 and open up a three-win cushion over Siroki, which is tied with KK Zagreb and Union Olimpija for fifth place. Miroslav Raduljica scored 19 on 9-for-11 shooting to pace Partizan, which dominated the second half after trailing 32-36 at halftime. Milan Macvan added 13 points and 10 rebounds and Dominic James had 13 points and 6 assists for the winners. KK Zagreb bested Zlatorog Lasko 71-64 as Mario Kasun scored 21 points with just 1 miss and grabbed 11 rebounds. Krka edged Slovenian rival Union Olimpija 79-81 after overtime led by Smiljan Pavic’s 22 points. OLimpija scored the last 7 points of regulation to force overtime at 66-66, but Afik Nissim scored the go-ahead layup and added 2 free throws in the last minute of the overtime session to make it 78-81. Sasu Salin was fouled shooting a three and went to the line with a chance to tie the game, but missed the second… and then missed the third intentionally, but Olimpija was unable to convert the rebound. Zoran Dragic and Mustafa Abdul Hamid added 12 points each for Krka. Deon Thompson led Olimpija with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
