Adriatic League, Regular Season, Game 25: March 13-14, 2012
In a duel between two Adriatic League final four sides that could end up as opponents in the semifinals, Partizan mt:s bested Cedevita 67-63 in the Serbian capital. Milan Macvan totaled 17 points and 9 rebounds and Miroslav Raduljica added 14 points for the winners, who improved to 18-7 – just like Cedevita. Three-pointers by Ivan Opacak and Chris Warren kept Cedevita in the game late, but Danilo Andusic iced the game with 4 free throws in the final minute. Warren and Chris Owens scored 11 points apiece in defeat. League-leading Maccabi Electra clobbered Helios Domzale on Tuesday in Slovenia 53-71 victory as Lior Eliyahu collected 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Tal Burstein added 12 points for the winners. The win raised Maccabi’s record to 22-1. Fourth place Buducnost Voli was also a winner, 62-72, over Zlatorog Lasko. The Montenegrin champs dominated the middle two quarters 25-42 to take control for good. Bojan Duljevic paced Buducnost with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Cedomir Vitkovac added 11 and 8. Meanwhile in the derby of the Croatian capital, KK Zagreb edged Cibona 84-88 led by Damir Markota’s 19 points and 7 rebounds and Mario Kasun’s 16 points.
