Siauliai sits atop the Baltic League standings after a pair of wins boosted its record to 4-0, while Rudupis moved into second place after handing Ventspils it first loss. Siauliai defeated Pieno zvaigzdes 83-66 on Saturday and then topped Baltai 89-81 the next day. Big man Denzel Bowles scored 16 points with just 1 missed shot in the first of those games and netted 20 in the second, when Arvydas Siksnius also stepped up with 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. The big showdown came Thursday night and saw Rudupis storm back from a 24-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to win 77-78. Simas Buterlevicius was the hero with 11 fourth-quarter points, including the game-winning free throws with 2 seconds remaining. Buterlevicius finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, Dainius Salenga netted 24 and Povilas Butkevicius 21. Bojan Bakic led Ventspils with 17 points.
