Third-place Antwerp Giants beat Belgacom Liege Basket 62-56 thanks to a 19-9 run in the last 10 minutes. Salah Mejri led the winners with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Darnell Wilson drained 15, while Josh Bostic and Terrence Jennings scored 10 apiece in a losing effort. Antwerp is now knocking on the door for first place with a 13-6 record. Verviers-Pepinster grabbed a thrilling 91-90 win over Oostende, getting a big boost from a 31-12 run in the third quarter that resulted in a 65-59 lead. In a last quarter Pepinster managed to hold off the visitors, which missed a shot at the buzzer to force overtime. Jermaine Beal led the way with 26 points and Wen Mukubu added 23, while Matt Lojeski led the losers with 31. And Optima Gent beat Leuven Bears 73-78 as Senne Geukens notched 20 points.
