Antwerp Giants outlasting 77-70 Oostende climbed to grab a share of first place in the Belgian League along with idle Spirou Charleroi at 17-7. The hosts raced a 41-29 halftime lead and held off Oostende in the fourth quarter for the win. Michael Roll led the way with 22 points, Bryan Hopkins added 14 and Timothy Black 11, while Dragisa Drobnjak contributed with 15 and Kennedy WInston with 13 for the visitors. Gent survived a 65-64 home thriller with Okapi Aalstar as Micheal Jenkins netted 15 points and Graham Brown 14, while Chris Young led the guests with 15. Liege downed 78-69 Verviers-Pepinster behind 21 points nailed by Dominic Waters and 16 by Terrence Jennings, never looking back. Mons-Hainaut took a 64-74 road win over Leuven, icing the game in the third quarter they finished on 42-58. Ahmad Nivins amassed 19 points and 9 rebounds while Quincy Terry posted 17 and Brandon Freeman led the hosts scoring 13 points.
