Meanwhile, Antwerp nosed into second with an 18-8 mark after crushing Mons Hainaut 44-74. Oostende appeared to have the game locked up at the end of the third quarter, leading 72-46, but Spirou rallied furiously in the last 10 minutes, nailing 6 three pointers on the way to a 13-35 partial, but it was not enough to steal the victory. Matt Lojeski led Oostende with 20 points, while Dwight Buycks and Brent Wright added 16 points and Kennedy Winston 15. Tornike Shengelia tallied 19 points, Dwayne Broyles 16 and Christophe Beghin 12 in a losing effort. Antwerp had no trouble with Mons Hainaut, winning 44-74, as Timothy Black led the way with 21 points. In other games, Aalstar routed Liege 86-67, and Leuven outduelled Verviers-Pepinster 88-95.
